Muskmelon/ Cantaloupe/ kharbuja/ Kirni Pazham Juice Recipe


Musk melon is best for hot summer. I made this while it is hot here in Houston. Since it is rich in water content, this is very good for our health. It’s easy to make musk melon juice by just adding water and sugar. Let’s see some of the benefits.
Health benefits:
Musk melon is a good source of Vitamin C. It is rich in antioxidants.
It is also said that having musk melon will reduce weight and good for skin too.
So it’s good to have it often in summer...:)  . Come let’s make musk melon juice…..


Cantaloupe Juice

Ingredients:

Cantaloupe - 1
Sugar – 3 tbsp. (use it according to your taste)
Water – 1 cup (as desired/no water)
Ice cubes – 4

Preparation:



1. First you have to take out the fleshy part from the fruit. You can do that in two ways. Either you can cut the fruit into two halves and scoop out the seeds, then the cut the fleshy part from skin.   
OR cut the skin from fruit (whole/cut into halves) remove the skin and make pieces from the skinned fruit as shown below.

2. Now put the cantaloupe, sugar and water in blender and run the blender till everything is smashed well. Check for the sugar taste. If it is less sweetening, add more sugar and check for the consistencyof juice. If you like watery, add more water else don’t add water.

3. Now put the ice cubes in blender along with the juice and crush it for 5 to 10 seconds and serve chilled.


Notes:

You can add little honey too, with sugar and water.
